Concert tomorrow May 4th

Tomorrow the 4th of May - the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Denmark form the German occupation - my choir Aurora will be doing a concert in Helligåndskirken

Vi have saved up money and have gotten financial support for this concert, so that we could hire professional musicians and soloists!

The main attraction is Vivaldi’s “Gloria”, but since we have the musicians and soloists we are going to use them for other stuff as well - like the “classical hit” ‘Jesus bleibet meine Freude’ (by J. S. Bach) with oboe and organ. Those instruments sound so wonderful that they will steal the show, I expect ;-) Due to the date, freedom and liberation are also themes for the concert.

I like that the home page consists of static HTML pages. The home page is not used a lot and even the lightest of CMSes requires maintenance.
